Bright Side of Life Coaching

Life Coaching is the process of guiding and challenging others to identify core life desires, uncovering authentic talents and applying unique qualities in pursuit of oneís goals. Coaching is a positive, practical and supportive process to help you create passion, joy and balance in your life. It is an ongoing relationship that is action-oriented, goal-driven, proactive and measurable.  When appropriate, I also integrate standard coaching techniques with spiritual principles that Iíve studied over the past 7 years

Perception is the building block of reality - change your perception and you will change your reality.

Questions and Answers for Bright Side Life Coaching

What is coaching? -- In short, itís a collaborative process, in which I help you define, speak out loud and strategically move toward what you really want in your professional or personal life. I will help you win at the games you play in life and I will help you find success as you define it - and deserve it!  As a coach, I guide you as you articulate your aspirations, clarify the choices before you and create action plans to achieve your goals. You set the agenda, and I serve as an objective sounding board to help keep you focused and on track. I help you break through old barriers and develop new practices so you can reach your desired goals.

Is this therapy? -- Although life coaching and therapy can complement each other, life coaching is not therapy. Through coaching you develop strategic actions to help you move forward. Coaching does not attempt to explain behaviors, delve into your past, or identify pathology. Coaches do not diagnose or treat any psychiatric disorders.

Who uses a coach? -- Individuals, families, small companies, large corporations and......you! Coaching is found in every industry and situation you can imagine. Life provides an abundance of circumstances Ė  coaching provides an abundance of support.

What is Spirituality? -- The essence of spirituality is the search to know our real self, to discover the true nature of consciousness.
When we awaken to the true nature of self, we are freed from many of the fears that plague us so unnecessarily. We discover an inner peace that does not depend upon events or circumstances in the world around, a quiet but profound inner fulfillment. This is self-liberation. And its transforming impact has made it the essence of the spiritual quest.

Spirituality can be:

bullet The idea of a process or journey of self-discovery and of learning not only who you are, but who you want to be.
bullet The challenge of reaching beyond your current limits. This can include keeping an open mind, questioning current beliefs, or trying to better understand others' beliefs.
bullet A connectedness to yourself and to others. Spirituality is personal, but it is also rooted in being connected with others and with the world around you. This connection can facilitate you finding "your place in the world."
bullet Meaning, purpose, and direction. Spirituality, while it doesn't necessarily solve or reach conclusions, often embraces the concept of searching and moving forward in the direction of meaning, purpose, and direction for your life.
bullet A higher power, whether rooted in a religion, nature, or some kind of unknown essence.

Why should we develop our spirituality? -- When appropriate, spirituality can offer many benefits to your life, both emotionally and physically. Developing your spiritual life can give you a sense of purpose and help you figure out where you are most passionate in your professional, social, and personal life. Some studies show that positive beliefs can comfort you and improve your health. People who have taken time to develop their spiritual life are also likely to better define their goals.
